Volvo Unveils the Updated XC60: A Sleek and Modern Upgrade
The new Volvo XC60 has arrived with a modern design aesthetic, boasting a refreshed grille reminiscent of its older sibling, the XC90. Departing from tradition, the XC60’s grille is crafted from a series of dense, overlapping diagonal lines, creating a look that echoes BMW’s iconic design language.
The updated model also features darkened taillights, redesigned wheels, and a fresh palette of exterior colors, including Forest Lake, Aurora Silver, and Mulberry Red.
Inside, the Volvo XC60 2026 showcases an elevated interior with premium, eco-friendly materials. It’s equipped with a crisp 11.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Cockpit platform, offering twice the speed and ten times the graphics performance of its predecessor.
Additionally, the XC60 now features an improved wireless phone charging pad and a redesigned cup holder.
Volvo has retained the XC60’s powertrain options. In the US, customers can choose between the mild-hybrid 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with 247 horsepower in the B5 model, or the T8 PHEV with an impressive 455 horsepower. The UK and European markets will also offer a less powerful plug-in hybrid option, the T6, delivering 345 horsepower (350 PS).
