Recently, Vietnamese businessman Minh Nhựa officially revealed the license plate number of his McLaren Elva supercar, which he brought to Vietnam in 2023.
The car’s license plate number is 51N-004.05, which is similar to the plate number 51L-00.405 of the Pagani Huayra, also owned by Minh Nhựa and known as the “wind god” of Vietnam.
This McLaren Elva is one of the most expensive cars in Vietnam, with a price tag of 8 million USD (over 204 billion VND) when it was purchased.
To comply with Vietnamese regulations, the McLaren Elva had to be fitted with a windshield, which is a departure from its original design as a speedster without a roof or windshield.
Minh Nhựa’s McLaren Elva features a black metallic paint job with orange accents on the front bumper, sides, and air intakes.
The most striking feature of this British supercar is the artwork “Icare,” painted directly on the body by artist Hom Nguyen. The piece took 72 hours to complete and was inspired by the Greek myth of Icarus. The delicate beauty of a woman is portrayed in the artwork, visible only when viewed up close.
Powering the Elva is a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 804 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. The power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds.
The McLaren Elva is a limited-edition model, with only 149 units produced globally. Minh Nhựa is one of the few owners of this exclusive supercar, which is known for its lack of a roof and windshield.
