Blackpink’s Lisa Adds a $1.7 Million Ferrari Purosangue to Her Car Collection

Lisa from Blackpink shared a glimpse into her garage, revealing a new addition to her car collection – a Ferrari. The K-pop star posted a photo on her personal page, captioned, “Welcoming my new baby to the fam.”

While Lisa didn’t specify the model, it is evident from the photo that she has acquired the Ferrari Purosangue – the Italian sports car maker’s first-ever SUV. With a starting price of 500 million won in South Korea (approximately $390,000), the Purosangue is a significant investment. However, due to import taxes and other factors, the same vehicle costs upwards of $1.7 million in Vietnam.

The Purosangue, which made its debut in September 2022, marks a historic shift for the “prancing horse” brand as it ventures into the world of super SUVs. The name, derived from Italian, translates to “thoroughbred.” True to its name, Ferrari boasts that the Purosangue offers a unique blend of speed, exhilarating handling, and versatility, all signature traits of the Ferrari experience.

Despite its SUV silhouette, the Purosangue maintains Ferrari’s signature aerodynamic design language. The front end borrows styling cues from the SF90 Stradale, featuring a two-tier lighting setup and a low-slung grille. The unique reverse-opening doors are reminiscent of those found on a Rolls-Royce. Inside, the SUV sports a dual-cockpit layout, with separate screens for the driver and passenger instead of a central infotainment display.

Powering the Purosangue is a 6.5L V12 engine mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission from Magna Powertrain. This potent combination delivers 715 horsepower and 716 Nm of torque, propelling the super SUV from 0-100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, with a top speed of 310 km/h.
