The Black Badge Spectre, a bold new definition from Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, boasts a unique exterior design, vibrant interior details, and limitless Bespoke possibilities. Under the hood, it delivers a four-digit torque of 1075 Nm and a record-breaking 659 horsepower, making it the most powerful Rolls-Royce in history.
Astonishing Power
The Black Badge Spectre takes driving experiences to the extreme with two innovative drive system enhancements: Infinity Mode and Spirited Mode. While new to Rolls-Royce vehicles, this technology has been used in aviation, where aircraft equipped with the legendary Rolls-Royce Merlin engines could access an immediate boost in power through a throttle control.
The first enhancement, Infinity Mode, is named after the Black Badge’s distinctive infinity symbol. Activating this mode by pressing the infinity button on the steering wheel unleashes the full 659 horsepower, providing an enhanced throttle response. Additionally, the instrument panel designs become more dynamic, reflecting the change in the vehicle’s character.
The second enhancement, Spirited Mode, enables drivers to experience immediate and powerful acceleration. When the vehicle is stationary, the driver activates this mode by simultaneously pressing the brake and accelerator pedals, waiting for the ready signal, and then fully releasing the brake. This temporarily boosts the torque to 1075 Nm, delivering a powerful surge that propels the car from 0-96 km/h in just 4.1 seconds.
Refined Chassis Design
Rolls-Royce engineers have made several refinements to the Black Badge Spectre’s chassis to match its powerful performance. The steering wheel has been fine-tuned for a heavier feel, and the anti-roll system has been upgraded to provide better feedback and stability during cornering.
The dampers have also been adjusted to improve body control, reducing jerking during acceleration or deceleration. These upgrades ensure that despite its astonishing power, the Black Badge Spectre delivers a smooth and comfortable driving experience, staying true to the brand’s ‘magic carpet ride’ philosophy.
Stylish and Bold Aesthetics
The Black Badge Spectre is introduced with a Vapour Violet paint job, a dark purple-black shade inspired by the neon lights of 80s and 90s nightclubs. This color is also a favorite among current Black Badge customers. The car’s hood is painted in Iced Black, creating a striking contrast with the body, which can be combined with a choice of up to 44,000 different colors. Customers can also create their unique color in collaboration with Rolls-Royce Bespoke artisans.
In addition to the existing coachline and fender stripes, customers can request a ‘waft’ coachline along the lower body of the car, highlighting its sharp design and emphasizing the elegant silhouette and impressive size of the Spectre.
The Black Badge Spectre also features a new five-spoke, 23-inch wheel design, available in two options: partially polished or fully black. Winter tires are also introduced as a standard option to cater to a diverse range of customers.
Similar to previous Black Badge models, many elements of the car are finished in black chrome, including the Spirit of Ecstasy emblem, Pantheon grille, brand nameplate, door handles, window surrounds, and accents on the bumpers.
Dynamic Accents
The Black Badge Spectre features a new illuminated Pantheon grille with various color options: Tailored Purple, Charles Blue, Chartreuse, Forge Yellow, and Turchese. Owners can also choose these vibrant colors for the illuminated Treadplates at the doors and special interior details.
Captivating Interior Design
Step inside the Black Badge Spectre, and you’re greeted by a bold and alluring atmosphere. The illuminated Fascia panel uniquely combines the Black Badge’s infinity symbol with 5,500 ‘stars’ of varying sizes and brightness, creating a sparkling ‘starry sky’ on a Piano Black backdrop.
Surrounding this distinctive Fascia is a complex surface that blends carbon and metal fibers, weaving a diamond pattern into the black Bolivar wood. Each interior piece is handcrafted and undergoes a meticulous process of sandblasting, six coats of lacquer, and polishing to achieve a flawless finish, adding impressive depth to the design.
The infinity symbol is also embroidered into the ‘Waterfall’ leather at the rear seats. On the front dashboard, customers can customize the color of the technical parameters with five themes: Vivid Grellow, Neon Nights, Cyan Fire, Ultraviolet, and Synth Wave, accessible through the SPIRIT app.
