Mercedes-Benz Unveils First Look at All-Electric GLC Ahead of its Official Debut in Munich in September 2025
Although heavily camouflaged, the Mercedes-Benz GLC EV is seen retaining the familiar design language of its combustion engine counterparts.
It features refined LED headlights and taillights with a three-pointed star motif, similar to the Concept CLA Class, along with electric door handles akin to those on the EQC models.
The vehicle is expected to be equipped with the latest EQ technology and offer a four-wheel-drive system, 4MATIC. According to the German automaker, the all-electric GLC promises optimal performance and range, fast charging, while maintaining the brand’s signature agility and luxury.
According to sources, instead of being based on the MRA platform like the EQC, the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC EV will utilize the MB.EA platform, which will also underpin the upcoming C-Class electric model.
Detailed performance specifications of the Mercedes-Benz GLC electric SUV are yet to be revealed. However, the all-new model is expected to offer an impressive range of around 650 kilometers on a single charge.
With its 800V electrical architecture, the GLC EV is capable of fast charging at power levels above 320 kW, significantly reducing charging times.
The Mercedes-Benz GLC EV is scheduled for its official launch in 2026. It is one of the 17 all-electric models that the German brand plans to introduce in the coming years.
