Volkswagen Unveils the ID. Every1 Concept: A Glimpse into the Future of Affordable Electric City Cars
The Volkswagen ID. Every1 is a compact, urban electric car concept that sits between the Volkswagen up! (3,600 mm) and the Polo (4,074 mm) in terms of size. With a length of 3,880 mm, a height of 1,490 mm, and a width of 1,816 mm, it rivals the Suzuki Swift in dimensions.
The ID. Every1 features a simple design with integrated tiered lighting effects in the front headlights, and a sleek, minimal look at the rear.
It comes with electric door handles and impressive 19-inch wheels, although these options may not make it to the production model.
The Volkswagen ID. Every1 has a 4-seat configuration and offers a generous 305 liters of cargo space.
As an affordable city car, the ID. Every1’s cabin is purposefully minimalistic, featuring a large central touchscreen, a small digital instrument cluster below the dashboard, a portable Bluetooth speaker, and a sliding central control panel. There’s also a rail for the passenger to attach a tablet or a tray that can be used as a table.
Built on the MEB platform, the Volkswagen ID. Every1 concept is powered by a 95 horsepower electric motor and front-wheel drive. It has a top speed of 130 km/h and a minimum range of 250 km.
Volkswagen plans to launch the production version of the ID. Every1 in 2027.
