Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre marks a significant milestone as the brand’s most powerful model to date and the first all-electric car to bear the Black Badge moniker.
The Spectre Black Badge retains the sleek design of its standard counterpart while embodying the athletic spirit synonymous with the Black Badge lineage.
Its exterior boasts an enigmatic allure with darkened accents, including the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy, grille surround, window trim, and door handles. The 23-inch forged aluminum alloy wheels introduce a bold statement, customizable in full black or two-tone finishes.
The Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge expands its allure with an array of new exterior color options and a contrasting hood.
In addition to the existing coachline and mudguard choices, owners can opt for the ‘waft’ coachline, elegantly positioned along the lower half of the coupe.
Step inside the Spectre Black Badge, and you’re greeted by a mysterious and luxurious black-themed interior. Illuminated Black Badge door sills, a digital instrument cluster customizable with themes like Vivid Grellow, Neon Nights, Cyan Fire, Ultraviolet, and Synth Wave via the SPIRIT app, and a Black Badge infinity emblem on the dashboard elevate the experience.
The dashboard is adorned with 5,500 “stars” set against a ‘Piano Black’ sky, while the interior trim is meticulously crafted from fine leather and complemented by Bolivar wood.
The Spectre Black Badge is equipped with two electric motors, delivering a staggering 650 horsepower and 1,075 Nm of torque, surpassing the standard Spectre’s figures of 577 horsepower and 900 Nm.
To unlock the full potential of this power, drivers can activate the Infinity Mode via a steering wheel-mounted button, enhancing throttle response for a more immediate driving experience.
Alternatively, the Spirited Mode, akin to a Launch Control for the affluent, unleashes the maximum torque output of 1,075 Nm. To engage this mode, the driver simultaneously presses the brake and accelerator pedals while the car is stationary.
With Spirited Mode engaged, the Spectre Black Badge sprints from 0-96 km/h in a mere 4.1 seconds, shaving off 0.3 seconds from the standard model’s time. While Rolls-Royce hasn’t disclosed specific battery details, it’s likely that the car retains the 102 kWh lithium-ion battery, offering an estimated range of around 446 km on a single charge.
Beyond performance enhancements, the suspension and chassis have been meticulously refined. Pricing for the Black Badge Spectre remains undisclosed, but it has already garnered interest from VIP clients. The standard Spectre is priced at VND 18 billion in Vietnam.
