The VinFast Limo Green 7-seater MPV is an ideal solution for ride-hailing drivers, offering high operational efficiency at a reasonable investment cost and minimal operating expenses.

The 7-seater vehicle is a favorite among both drivers and passengers

“Green” has been the hottest keyword in the automotive community in recent days, following GSM’s announcement of accepting reservations for four VinFast vehicle lines dedicated to ride-hailing services starting March 17. Among them, the Limo Green has particularly attracted the attention of users and experts alike as VinFast’s first MPV 7-seater model.

“The front design is stunning, and the black interior looks elegant. Passengers would definitely enjoy riding in this car,” said , a member of the VinFast Limo Green Northern Club. In addition, according to him, the specificity of the electric motor makes the car operate smoothly without the jerking typically associated with gasoline vehicles, providing a more comfortable experience for passengers, especially on long-distance trips or in congested urban areas.

Commenting on the Limo Green, automotive expert Nguyen Manh Thang stated that with its dimensions of 4,740 x 1,872 x 1,728 mm, the Limo Green is comparable to the Toyota Innova Cross, a higher-priced MPV often used for ride-hailing services, and larger than the Mitsubishi Xpander, another popular MPV model.

Meanwhile, the Limo Green’s 2,840 mm wheelbase ensures ample space and comfort for both the driver and passengers across all three rows of seats. As a result, the VinFast Limo Green is highly regarded for its design and features, making it well-suited for transportation services.

Actual expenditure amounts to just over VND 500 million

Tran Duc Minh, a ride-hailing driver in Ho Chi Minh City who intends to purchase a 7-seater vehicle for his business, pays close attention to the price and incentives offered. To him, the Limo Green is the most promising option, helping him save a significant amount of money, potentially up to hundreds of millions of VND.

“The Limo Green is priced at VND 749 million, but early bird reservations from March 17-24 come with a VND 15 million discount. Electric vehicles are also exempt from registration fees, saving me an additional VND 80 million,” explained Minh.

In addition, VinFast’s policy of providing free charging until the end of June 2027 helps drivers like Minh considerably reduce operating costs, especially given the volatile gasoline prices. According to Minh’s estimates, he would spend around VND 3 million on electricity per month, resulting in savings of VND 60-70 million over the two-year free charging period. In contrast, fuel costs for a 7-seater gasoline vehicle could reach VND 7-8 million per month.

However, what convinced Minh the most was the revenue-sharing policy of 90% from the Xanh SM Platform for the first three years when purchasing the Limo Green through GSM before March 24 and joining the platform in 2025.

“This policy is unprecedented in the market. With only 10% platform fees, I can minimize financial risks and recover my investment faster. In contrast, other platforms typically take at least 25% of the revenue. By driving for three years, I estimate that I will earn an additional VND 160 million just from this difference,” the driver analyzed.

Furthermore, by joining the Xanh SM Platform, drivers like Minh can leverage the existing customer base, reducing waiting times and increasing the likelihood of consecutive rides with passengers.

In summary, Minh calculated that he would save over VND 240 million on the purchase, bringing the actual expenditure to just over VND 500 million. This price is highly competitive compared to traditional vehicles used for ride-hailing services, which typically have on-road prices ranging from VND 700 to 800 million.

“Such an investment for a 7-seater vehicle to operate ride-hailing services is truly unprecedented,” concluded the customer.
