VinFast, a Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, has been ranked 101st in TIME Magazine’s list of the top 500 best companies in Asia-Pacific for 2025. This ranking places VinFast among the companies that are ‘shaping the region’s position on the world economic map.’

According to TIME’s editors, this year’s list reflects the strength of the region’s leading businesses, which have contributed to its explosive growth in 2024, despite global economic challenges and geopolitical instability. Not only has VinFast surpassed many longstanding automotive brands, but it is also the only Vietnamese company to make it into the top 200 of this prestigious ranking.

To compile this ranking, the New York-based magazine, with a 101-year history, collaborated with Statista to collect data and conduct thorough research and evaluations of candidates based on three criteria: revenue growth, employee satisfaction, and ESG (environmental, social, and governance) analysis.

After a rigorous assessment process, VinFast achieved an impressive total score of 89.01. Additionally, the company ranked 100th in the employee satisfaction criterion.

This is the second consecutive year that VinFast has been recognized by TIME in its prestigious lists. Last year, VinFast was named one of the 100 most influential companies in the world by the magazine.

Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, VinFast’s Asia Director, shared, “Being included in the ASIA-PACIFIC’S BEST COMPANIES OF 2025 list is a testament to our unwavering efforts in contributing to the global green transportation revolution. We have been expanding our presence in key Asian markets, offering a comprehensive and inclusive ‘For a Green Future’ ecosystem, thereby boosting revenue growth, creating attractive job opportunities, and affirming our social responsibility and strong commitment to the region’s sustainable development.”

After establishing a strong presence in Vietnam, North America, and Europe, VinFast is now expanding into other potential international markets. Over the past year, the company has launched its brand in the Middle East and India, and officially started selling and delivering its diverse range of electric SUVs in Indonesia and the Philippines.
