After nearly half a year of its global debut, the Pagani Utopia Roadster has finally made its way to Southeast Asia.
Pagani Utopia Roadster is limited to only 130 units worldwide. In Italy, the car starts at $3.4 million. To be road-legal in Singapore, this supercar had to undergo a conversion to right-hand drive, incurring additional taxes and fees that could amount to over $10 million.
This Pagani Utopia Roadster, which has arrived in Southeast Asia, boasts a Habanero Red exterior that is described as having the ability to turn dark brown depending on the lighting conditions.
In terms of design, the Utopia Roadster retains the distinctive features of the coupe version. This hypercar showcases a minimalist yet modern style. The aerodynamic elements are subtly integrated, preserving the striking raised lines on the body. One of Utopia’s standout features is its unique dihedral door design, which allows the doors to detach from the body and then rotate along the main axis to face upwards.
The rear end is highlighted by a set of taillights that resemble aircraft engine turbines. Accompanying this is an enormous elliptical wing that aids in maintaining stability at high speeds.
The interior of this Pagani Utopia Roadster is adorned with Grecale and Huayra Signature leather, seamlessly blending cream and brown hues. The stitching is meticulously executed, resulting in an impressive checkered pattern.
Instead of a central display, the dashboard features an array of buttons alongside chrome and electrolytic metal dials.
Additionally, the first Utopia Roadster in Singapore is equipped with the Sport Pack option, which includes numerous components crafted from Carbon-Titanium (a Pagani-exclusive material). These range from the gear knob and shift paddles to floor mats, aerodynamic wings, and the roof.
Under the hood, the Pagani Utopia Roadster is powered by a handcrafted AMG V12 6.0L engine, generating 852 horsepower and 1,100 Nm of torque. This is paired with a 7-speed Xtrac gearbox and rear-wheel drive.
The hypercar also features an active suspension system and the Pirelli Cyber Tyre electronic tire sensor system. This technology is compatible with Pirelli P Zero Corsa, Winter, and Trofeo RS tires, enabling the transmission of information from the tires to the electronic stability control and traction control systems.
