The Lynk & Co 900 crossover plug-in hybrid has been unveiled in China, boasting a 52.38 kWh Freevoy battery pack from CATL. It offers an all-electric range of 280 km under CLTC conditions. Moreover, the vehicle can charge from 20 to 80% in just 17 minutes. This month, the Lynk & Co 900 will be launched in the Chinese market and is likely to be introduced to Vietnam soon.

The Lynk & Co 900 is the flagship SUV from the brand, featuring a plug-in hybrid powertrain. It was first revealed in China in January 2025, and the large SUV is set to hit the market this month. Previously, the Lynk & Co 900 was announced to deliver an impressive 630 kW (845 hp) of power. Additionally, it is the first mass-produced car to feature the Nvidia Drive Thor SoC, offering 1,000 TOPS of computing power.

The Lynk & Co 900 is the brand’s first vehicle to utilize CATL’s sodium-containing Freevoy battery. This LFP package has a capacity of 52.38 kWh, and when fully charged, the Lynk & Co 900 can travel up to 280 km under CLTC conditions.

The Freevoy battery supports 4C charging technology, meaning it can charge at a rate four times its capacity. As a result, the Lynk & Co 900 can charge from 20 to 80% in just 17 minutes.

The Freevoy battery is designed specifically for PHEVs to deliver a “BEV-like” experience. It also incorporates sodium-ion technology, enabling discharge at extremely low temperatures of -40°C and charging at conditions as low as -30°C.

With its gasoline engine, the Lynk & Co 900 offers a combined range of 1,443 km. This versatile crossover is available in three powertrain variants.

The base Lynk & Co 900 features a 1.5-liter engine combined with two electric motors, delivering a total system output of 530 kW (711 hp). The next step up is the 2.0-liter gasoline engine option, which, together with two electric motors, produces 540 kW (724 hp).

The top-of-the-line Lynk & Co 900 employs a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and three electric motors (one at the front and two at the rear). This configuration generates a staggering combined output of 630 kW (845 hp), enabling the crossover to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds.

The Lynk & Co 900 is a large crossover that draws design inspiration from the Range Rover. It is based on the SPA Evo architecture and boasts impressive dimensions of 5240/1999/1810 with a 3160 mm wheelbase. It incorporates a continuous damping control system and a two-chamber air suspension system.

Inside, the Lynk & Co 900 features two 30-inch displays with up to 6K resolution. The central dashboard also includes a 12.66-inch digital instrument cluster. The second-row seats in this premium vehicle can rotate 180 degrees.
