The standout feature of the 2025 Mercedes-AMG G 63 is its mild-hybrid engine system, a first for this model.

A year after its global debut, the 2025 Mercedes-AMG G 63 (internal code W465) has arrived in Southeast Asia, specifically in the Thai market. There, this luxury SUV is priced at over 18.8 million baht (~14.2 billion VND).

The new-generation G 63’s design doesn’t deviate much from its predecessor. The most notable change in this luxury SUV is its mild-hybrid system.

The G 63 W465 is powered by the same 4.0L V8 Biturbo engine as before, producing 585 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. However, the mild-hybrid system provides an additional 20 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque for short bursts during acceleration or overtaking. This powerplant is mated to a 9-speed AMG Speedshift TCT 9G automatic transmission, AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive, and AMG Active Ride Control active hydraulic suspension. This setup enables the G 63 to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 220 km/h.

In terms of dimensions, the 2025 Mercedes-AMG G 63 retains the same measurements: 4,825 mm in length, 1,984 mm in width, and 1,976 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,890 mm. This SUV offers a ground clearance of 250 mm and can wade through water up to 850 mm deep.

Mercedes-AMG G 63 2025 offers customers 8 standard exterior color options, including Polar White, Obsidian Black, Iridium Silver, Mojave Silver, Sodalite Blue, Brilliant Blue, Emerald Green, and Selenite Grey. Additionally, the G 63 is available with MANUFAKTUR custom paint options, the AMG Night Package for a darker exterior look, or the G manufaktur package.

The G 63 arriving in Thailand sports 21-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels with a two-tone finish and eye-catching red brake calipers.

Inside the cabin, the new G 63 features a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system alongside a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The steering wheel has been redesigned and is now finished in carbon fiber and Dinamica microsuede, integrating digital touch-sensitive controls. The seats are upholstered in premium Nappa leather with various options available. The headliner, door panels, and other surfaces are trimmed in Dinamica microsuede, simulating suede. According to the manufacturer, the G 63 offers a generous 640 liters of cargo space, expandable to 2,010 liters with the rear seats folded down.
