Yamaha Unveils the Gear Ultima 125 Hybrid in Southeast Asia

The Yamaha Gear Ultima 125 Hybrid is offered in two variants: the Hybrid, priced at 19.9 million IDR (approximately over 30 million VND), and the Hybrid S, priced at 21.5 million IDR (approximately over 33 million VND).

The 2025 Yamaha Gear Ultima 125 Hybrid features overall dimensions of 1,850 x 685 x 1,075 mm, a wheelbase of 1,280 mm, and a lightweight construction, weighing just 95 kg. It has a seat height of 750 mm, a ground clearance of 135 mm, and a fuel tank capacity of 5.1 liters.

The Yamaha Gear Ultima 125 Hybrid impresses with its compact yet youthful and dynamic design. The front features a modern LED headlight arrangement, with turn signals integrated into the front apron for a seamless look. 

The Gear Ultima 125 Hybrid 2025 is equipped with telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock absorber. Both wheels use tubeless tires, sized 110/70-12 47L at the front and rear. The front brake is a disc type, while the rear uses a drum brake.

This scooter offers a range of modern conveniences, including a smart key system, a mobile phone charging port, a dual hook, a digital instrument cluster (for the premium version), Answer Back System, hazard lights, Y-Connect, and the Start/Stop System (SSS) for improved fuel efficiency.

Powering the Yamaha Gear Ultima 125 Hybrid is the BlueCore Hybrid 125cc air-cooled engine, delivering 8.3 horsepower and 10.6 Nm of torque. Yamaha has not disclosed the fuel consumption figures yet, but they are expected to be similar to or better than the Fazzio 125’s 1.7 liters/100km.
