In March 2024, luxury automaker Rolls-Royce unveiled the Arcadia Droptail, a masterpiece on four wheels rumored to be priced at over $30 million. The owner of this exquisite vehicle is said to be a reclusive Singaporean millionaire.
Images of the Rolls Royce Arcadia Droptail arriving in Singapore have now surfaced. If the owner wishes to drive this car on the roads, they will have to spend three times the car’s initial $30 million price tag. Thus, it is likely that the car will be displayed in the owner’s garage, joining a collection of over 1,000 automobiles, many of which are supercars, hypercars, race cars, and other multimillion-dollar marvels like the Arcadia Droptail.
The Rolls-Royce Droptail is an ultra-luxurious convertible limited to just four units worldwide. Rolls-Royce has unveiled three of these exclusive models: La Rose Noire, Amethyst, and Arcadia.
Unlike its two predecessors, the Arcadia Droptail is painted in a subtle white hue. Rolls-Royce designers developed a two-tone exterior for this exquisite car. Most of the body is painted in a plain white color mixed with fine aluminum and glass particles. The lower area, on the other hand, features a carbon fiber finish painted in silver. This is the first Rolls-Royce Droptail to feature silver-painted carbon fiber details.
In total, Rolls-Royce spent over 8,000 labor hours crafting the wooden details on the Arcadia. The company tested various types of wood to ensure they met the same durability standards as the exterior wood. Over 150 types of wood were tested using methods such as sun exposure, rain simulation, and temperature variations.
Under the hood, the Rolls Royce Arcadia Droptail is powered by the familiar twin-turbocharged 6.75-liter V12 engine. This engine produces a maximum output of 593 horsepower and a peak torque of 840 Nm. As a result, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than five seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h.
