Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam has recently signed a cooperation agreement with EVG Group Joint Stock Company and Chargeplus Vietnam Co., Ltd. to deploy a nationwide network of charging stations.

With the growing popularity of electric and hybrid vehicles, Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam has decided to join hands with partners to build a comprehensive electric vehicle ecosystem, providing a more convenient experience for users.

According to the cooperation agreement, the parties will jointly develop a fast-charging system with a capacity of 30kW to 360kW. At the same time, these charging stations will be integrated with a range of features such as a mobile app for charge management, a function to find the nearest charging station, the ability to check charging status, and online payment, all aimed at enhancing the user experience.

Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam, along with its two strategic partners, plans to deploy fast-charging systems in three key areas: major cities, shopping malls, and inter-provincial expressways.

Furthermore, Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam will also introduce charging incentives for customers who purchase their vehicles, encouraging the use of green transportation.

Despite having a well-planned strategy, Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam currently only sells gasoline (Omoda C5, Jaecoo J7) and hybrid (Jaecoo J7 PHEV) vehicles, with no electric vehicles on offer yet.

In the future, Omoda & Jaecoo will continue to expand its product portfolio in Vietnam. The company emphasizes that the charging stations will serve not only electric vehicles but also support plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models that are currently being distributed.
