There has been recent buzz surrounding a Ferrari 812 GTS convertible supercar that has reportedly arrived in Vietnam. According to images from car importers, the red Ferrari 812 GTS, similar to the first one in the country, was handed over to Dang Le Nguyen Vu.

However, the shared images were likely taken at a port in Hong Kong, although there is a possibility that the second Ferrari 812 GTS convertible has indeed reached Vietnam.

The imminent arrival of the Ferrari 812 GTS convertible in Vietnam can be seen as a boon for enthusiasts of the Italian marque. Previous high-end models such as the Ferrari 599 GTB and Ferrari F12 Berlinetta did not have commercially produced convertible versions.

One of the key advantages of the GTS variant is its retractable hardtop, which can be opened or closed in just 14 seconds. Moreover, the roof can be operated while the car is in motion, as long as the Ferrari 812 GTS is traveling at speeds below 45 km/h.

The 812 GTS is currently the most powerful V12 Ferrari convertible that is readily available for purchase. It boasts a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, delivering an impressive 789 horsepower and 718 Nm of torque.

With this powerhouse of an engine, the Ferrari 812 GTS convertible can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and reach 200 km/h in 8.3 seconds, eventually topping out at a breathtaking 340 km/h. These figures match those of the hardtop Ferrari 812 Superfast.

Details about the pricing of the Ferrari 812 GTS in Vietnam remain unclear, but in Thailand, well-heeled enthusiasts have to shell out 34.7 million Baht, which equates to approximately 26 billion VND, for the privilege of owning this supercar.

At its launch, the Ferrari 812 GTS carried a price tag of over $450,000, but now, pre-owned examples have seen their values increase by anywhere from $100,000 to $250,000, depending on their condition and options.
