Customers who place orders with a deposit of RMB 5,000 (USD 690) are eligible for a RMB 10,000 (USD 1,400) discount on the purchase price.

The Aito M8 is the brand’s fourth model after the M5, M7, and M9, positioned as a mid-to-large-sized SUV with prices ranging from RMB 200,000 to 600,000 (USD 27,600 to 83,000).

The Aito M8 is positioned as a mid-to-large SUV with dimensions of 5190/1999/1795 mm and a wheelbase of 3105 mm. Regarding the interior, the cockpit features a symmetrical design with three familiar screens and a 75-inch HUD. Both 5- and 6-seat configurations are available. Currently, detailed interior configurations are yet to be announced by Aito.

Additionally, the advanced Huawei ADS 3.0 driving system is integrated into the Aito M8, featuring 192-line lidar, seven millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 11 high-definition cameras. The ADS can identify obstacles (vehicles, pedestrians) and various specially shaped obstacles.

The EREV powertrain includes a 1.5T range-extending engine with a maximum output of 118 kW (158 hp), a front electric motor with 165 kW (221 hp), and a rear electric motor with 227 kW (304 hp). The official WLTC fuel consumption is an impressive 0.52 liters/100km, and the top speed is 200 km/h.

Additionally, the Aito M8’s “Giant Whale” battery structure reduces wiring by 80% and thickness by 16.4%, according to officials. With 800V high-voltage charging, just a 5-minute charge provides enough power to travel an extra 150 km.
