At the 2025 Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS 2025), Mazda officially unveiled its all-new electric sedan, the Mazda 6e.

Mazda 6e is the Japanese automaker’s first all-electric vehicle, part of its multi-solution technology strategy.

Mazda offers the 6e with two battery options: the smallest with a 68.8 kWh capacity, offering an impressive 483 km of electric range, and the ability to charge from 10-80% in just 22 minutes at a 200 kW charging rate. A 15-minute charge can provide up to 233 km of range. This variant produces 258 horsepower, enabling the car to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 7.6 seconds.

The second battery option has an 80 kWh capacity, delivering a whopping 555 km of range, but it takes 45 minutes to charge from 10-80%. This version produces 244 horsepower, resulting in a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.8 seconds. The rear-wheel-drive system promises an exhilarating driving experience.

Mazda 6e is a collaboration between the Japanese car brand and Changan Automobile. The vehicle retains Mazda’s signature design language, Kodo Soul of Motion. Like other Mazda models, the 6e exudes elegance and modernity. The front features a distinctive grille surrounded by an LED strip that flashes during charging to indicate the battery’s status.

The Mazda 6e’s hood has a low-slung design, giving it a sporty appearance. The frameless doors, low roofline, and active rear spoiler enhance the car’s athletic and dynamic character.

The interior of the Mazda 6e exudes luxury, featuring suede-like upholstery. It boasts a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, delivering a high-tech experience.
