Aston Martin has just officially unveiled the Vanquish Volante – the convertible version of the Vanquish, marking the 60th anniversary of the British automotive legend.

The Vanquish Volante not only offers a liberating open-top driving experience, but also retains the impressive performance of its coupe counterpart, making it the fastest front-engine convertible on the market today.

The Vanquish Volante is powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.2L V12 engine, producing a staggering 824 horsepower and 1,000 Nm of torque. This power is transmitted to the rear wheels through an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission with a transaxle design, coupled with an electronic differential (E-diff) to optimize traction and handling.

Despite the necessary chassis reinforcement due to the absence of a fixed roof, the Volante weighs just 95 kg more than the coupe, enabling it to attain a top speed of 344 km/h, surpassing the Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider. The Volante can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, which is slightly slower than the Ferrari (2.95 seconds), but still remarkably quick for a rear-wheel-drive convertible.

As a convertible, the Vanquish Volante exudes a more alluring aesthetic with its retractable fabric roof. Aston Martin has refined the rear design, eliminating the familiar “duck tail” spoiler for a more elegant silhouette.

A standout feature is the K-fold fabric roof, which can be raised or lowered in just 14 seconds, ensuring exceptional acoustic and thermal insulation for a sporty yet luxurious driving experience.

The interior of the Vanquish Volante boasts a pair of 10.25-inch screens and a premium 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system, tailored specifically for the car. It comes standard with Sport Plus seats, but buyers can opt for high-performance carbon fiber seats. Other notable options include a Titanium exhaust system and a set of premium leather luggage.

Customers can now place their orders for the Vanquish Volante convertible. The first deliveries are expected in Q3 2025. However, Aston Martin will produce fewer than 1,000 Vanquish models annually.
