On March 16, 2025, a convoy of supercars worth nearly 400 billion VND belonging to businessman Hoang Kim Khanh arrived in Da Nang City to prepare for a short tour to several provinces in Central Vietnam.
However, as the convoy was traveling from Nguyen Van Linh Street to Da Nang Airport, when they reached the intersection with Phan Chau Trinh Street, several drivers in the group disobeyed the traffic light signal, running the red light as it changed from green.
Hoang Kim Khanh’s Supercar Fleet Fined Nearly 200 Million VND for Running Red Light
Authorities immediately took action, confirming that 11 cars and 1 motorcycle were in violation. They decided to temporarily confiscate 2 electronic driver’s licenses and 9 physical driver’s licenses from the drivers involved, and issued a total fine of 167 million VND.
The two most prominent vehicles in Hoang Kim Khanh’s fleet on this trip to Da Nang were the Koenigsegg Regera and McLaren Senna supercars. This was also a rare occasion in nearly two years that the Koenigsegg Regera was seen in public.
Additionally, the event featured other popular car models such as the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, Ferrari 488 Pista Spider, Lamborghini Aventador S LP740-4, Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Morgan Plus Six, Bentley Mulsanne, Bentley Bentayga V8, Cadillac, Lexus LX600, and BMW 428i.
