Despite its relatively young age in the automotive industry, Xiaomi has continuously created a stir.

After the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra electric car model caused a storm with more than 10,000 orders in just 2 hours, the company’s factory also became a “hot” destination, with tour tickets resold at concert-level prices.

As soon as Xiaomi opened registrations for tours of its car manufacturing plant, thousands signed up, making the free slots scarce. On social media platforms, these slots are being resold for up to 2,000 yuan (approximately 7 million VND).

The participants of this tour will have the opportunity to witness the advanced technologies behind Xiaomi’s hottest electric car model.

The first round of registrations recorded 4,600 applications, but each tour is limited to 20 guests, making it extremely competitive to secure a spot. Nevertheless, many young people are even willing to travel from other places to Beijing at their own expense to visit the factory.

This tour will last about an hour. During this time, guests will spend 40 minutes exploring the technology exhibition area to learn about the advanced features of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra. The remaining 20 minutes will be spent witnessing the production workshop, where highly automated assembly lines operate with the support of robots.

Moreover, guests can test-drive the cars and observe the modern production process supervised by only about 100 workers on a line capable of producing up to 20,000 cars per month.

It is evident that Xiaomi has not only succeeded in the electric car market but has also created an entirely new trend with its factory tours, transforming an industrial activity into a special experience to attract Chinese youth.
