Audi has recently unveiled the new A5 2025 with significant changes in design, equipment, and technology. In fact, this is the new generation of the A4, but the name has been changed to fit the new naming convention of the four-ring brand.
The third-generation Audi A5, the successor to the fifth-generation Audi A4, has been introduced with two variants: Sedan and Avant. The highlight is that both versions offer the PHEV e-hybrid quattro engine option, combining powerful performance with fuel efficiency.
The A5 e-hybrid quattro features an upgraded high-voltage battery with a larger capacity, higher energy density, and an intelligent energy recovery system. As a result, its performance is optimized beyond what was possible with the previous mild-hybrid technology. The powerful engine is paired with the S line exterior package, 19-inch sports wheels, and red brake calipers, replacing the standard 18-inch wheels.
In terms of design, the car features LED Plus headlights, LED Pro taillights, a dark-themed exterior trim package, and privacy windows. The luggage compartment capacity of the Sedan version ranges from 331 to 1,175 liters, while the Avant version offers 361 to 1,306 liters.
The interior of these two versions remains unchanged from other variants, featuring a 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.5-inch central MMI touchscreen, and a 10.9-inch passenger seat screen. The front sports seats, part of the Business Package, offer electric adjustment in four directions for the backrest, thigh support, and headrest, providing optimal comfort and support during cornering.
The Audi A5 e-hybrid quattro is equipped with advanced PHEV technology, combining a 2.0 TFSI gasoline engine that produces 252 hp with a 105 kW electric motor. This system delivers two power levels: 299 hp in the standard version and 367 hp in the S line sports version. The car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds (standard version) and 5.1 seconds (S line version), with a top speed limited to 250 km/h. The high-voltage 25.9 kWh battery supports a maximum charging capacity of 11 kW, taking 2.5 hours to charge from 0-100%, along with an intelligent energy recovery system, outperforming the previous mild-hybrid technology.
In Germany, the Audi A5 e-hybrid quattro Sedan is priced at 62,500 Euros (approximately 1.69 billion VND), while the Avant version is 64,150 Euros (approximately 1.73 billion VND). The high-performance versions of these two models are priced at 70,900 Euros (approximately 1.91 billion VND) and 72,550 Euros (approximately 1.96 billion VND), respectively.
