Car enthusiasts in Ho Chi Minh City were recently surprised to spot a rare Ferrari F430 on the roads. With only a handful of these supercars in Vietnam, it was unexpected to see one that hadn’t already been snapped up by the coffee king, Dang Le Nguyen Vu.
However, just two days after its appearance, the Ferrari F430 was indeed purchased by Vu, adding to his already impressive collection of nearly 50 supercars. This quick acquisition confirms the “Vietnamese coffee king’s” thirst for Ferrari vehicles.
There are currently around eight Ferrari F430s in Vietnam, including three Coupe, three Spider, and two high-performance F430 Scuderia models. Vu is believed to own almost all of the F430s, except for one Coupe still in the garage of a Ho Chi Minh City tycoon.
The Ferrari F430 was introduced in 2004 as a replacement for the 360 series and was produced until 2009 when it was discontinued in favor of the 458 Italia. Similarly, the 458 Italia has since been succeeded by the 488 GTB, which has now been replaced by the Ferrari F8 Tributo.
The Ferrari F430 is equipped with a 4.3-liter V8 engine that delivers 490 horsepower and 465 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately four seconds and reach a top speed of 315 km/h. The supercar has an average fuel consumption of 20 liters per 100 kilometers.
