Thaco Auto has unveiled the updated mid-life cycle SUV 2008. The official website now features the new Peugeot 2008 with its premium and GT versions priced at 829 million and 899 million VND, respectively.
Previously, the predecessor version was available in Active and GT Line trims, priced at 789 million and 859 million VND, respectively. With this mid-life cycle upgrade, the price has increased by approximately 40 million VND.

With a price point exceeding 800 million VND, the 2008 model is positioned higher than its competitors in the B-segment SUV market, such as the Mitsubishi Xforce, Toyota Yaris Cross, Lynk & Co 06, and Omoda C5.
While this pricing strategy is consistent with the brand’s positioning, it may pose a challenge in attracting a wider range of customers who prioritize economic factors when choosing an SUV in this segment.
