VinFast offers attractive incentives for customers transitioning from battery leasing to purchasing, with prices varying based on vehicle model, version, battery type, and customer purchase time.
On February 26, VinFast announced the official discontinuation of its battery leasing policy for electric cars and motorcycles, effective March 1, along with introducing supportive incentives for all vehicles with included batteries.
The company continues to uphold existing support policies for customers currently availing battery leasing services. For those who wish to purchase the leased battery, VinFast offers the following supportive prices:
To proceed, customers need to visit the dealership to terminate their previous battery leasing contract. Typically, a deposit is required for battery leasing, such as VND 7 million for VF 3, VND 15 million for VF 5, and up to VND 60 million for VF 9. The clearance batteries remain eligible for the manufacturer’s warranty, which varies depending on the vehicle model.
In addition to supporting customers in transitioning from battery leasing to purchasing, VinFast offers attractive incentives for new customers buying vehicles with included batteries. Specifically, customers purchasing VinFast electric models can enjoy support of up to VND 181 million. Combined with the recently extended exemption from registration fees until February 28, 2027, buyers during this period can save up to hundreds of millions of VND. Along with a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty for both vehicles and batteries, VinFast also offers free charging until the end of June 2027.
