Bugatti introduces the Équipe Pur Sang option package for the Tourbillon. This upgrade package, valued at nearly $1 million, includes a $360,000 paint job, a $75,000 sunroof, $10,000 headrests, a $650,000 instrument cluster, and more.

Bugatti has a reputation for indulging its clients by offering a wide range of customizations and, in some cases, even adding unique features to make each supercar truly one-of-a-kind. The latest example is the Tourbillon with the “Équipe Pur Sang” option package.

According to the manufacturer, the Tourbillon is limited to just 250 units, half the production volume of the Chiron. So, it’s no surprise that this $4.6 million supercar is coveted by billionaires who are willing to splurge on customizations.

The premium Équipe Pur Sang equipment package on the Tourbillon costs $240,000. Opting for this package transforms the rear end of the Bugatti Tourbillon with an eight-tailpipe exhaust system and adds an aerodynamic body kit. This is the highest number of tailpipes ever fitted to a Bugatti, surpassing even the six tailpipes on the 2021 La Voiture Noire and the Type 57 Atlantic Coupe 1938.

In addition to the new exhaust configuration, the Équipe Pur Sang package includes a redesigned front bumper with reshaped air intakes and a more efficient air splitter. At the rear, the supercar features a body-colored diffuser and subtle adaptive spoilers on both sides of the rear wing.

One of the most expensive options in the Équipe Pur Sang package is the Matt Red paint finish with Matt Vermillion Carbon fiber body, priced at $360,000.

Inside the cabin, Bugatti designers have added Équipe Pur Sang badges on the headrests and dashboard for $10,000. The carbon fiber trim package costs $15,000, while the rose gold-decorated instrument cluster is priced at $65,000, and a set of luggage bags will set you back $36,000.

So, the total cost of the Équipe Pur Sang package amounts to $5.56 million.

While the visual upgrades are significant, there is no mention of any performance enhancements. Therefore, the Bugatti Tourbillon continues to rely on its hybrid powertrain, which includes a 1,000-horsepower, 8.3-liter V16 engine designed by Cosworth, along with two electric motors on the front axle and one on the rear, adding another 800 horsepower. Combined, the Bugatti Tourbillon boasts a staggering 1,800 horsepower, 200 more than the Chiron Super Sport.
