The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado gets a rugged, wilderness-ready makeover from renowned Japanese tuner, Wald International.

At the ongoing Osaka Auto Show 2025 in Japan, Wald International unveiled their latest creation – a bold and aggressive take on the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado SUV, dubbed the Desert Series Black Bison Edition. After teasing the project towards the end of last year, the renowned Japanese tuner has finally unveiled the completed build.

The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Desert Series Black Bison Edition boasts a formidable presence, a stark contrast to its standard counterpart. This is evident in the front end, which features a redesigned bumper with a large grille and additional air intakes. The new LED lights flanking the grille and the blacked-out headlights further enhance the SUV’s menacing demeanor. A prominent hood scoop sits atop the bonnet, with a roof-mounted light bar, aerodynamic fin, and a fresh set of roof racks completing the rugged look.

From the side profile, the Land Cruiser Prado by Wald showcases widened fenders and a significant increase in ground clearance thanks to a suspension lift. At the rear, the tuner has fitted a custom bumper with an integrated diffuser, faux side vents, and a distinctive rear wing.

Wald has not yet disclosed any details regarding the pricing or availability of the Desert Edition Black Bison package for the Land Cruiser Prado.
