The Carlex Rose Vintage: A Bold Pink Take on the Mercedes-Benz G-Class

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class has long been an icon of rugged sophistication in the off-road vehicle realm. However, Car customization companies never cease to amaze us with their innovative takes on this classic model, and Carlex Design has certainly caught our attention with their “Vintage” line of G-Wagens. Among them, the Carlex Rose Vintage stands out with its bold, retro-inspired aesthetic, a stark departure from the typical G-Wagen style.

The Carlex Rose Vintage makes a statement with its soft pink paintjob on the lower half of the body, elegantly contrasted by a white upper half. The new body kit is a subtle yet captivating addition, featuring a chrome front bumper, push bar, and a Carlex logo-adorned grille, replacing the iconic Mercedes three-pointed star. The wheel arches are flared for a muscular look, while the chrome rear bumper maintains a cohesive design. The retro-style wheels with pink centers, chrome spokes, and whitewall tires, along with the matching spare tire mount, complete the classic look.

The interior continues the pink theme, with pink leather upholstery on the seats, steering wheel, dashboard, door panels, and even the trunk lining, seamlessly matching the exterior. The ceiling is lined with pink Alcantara, accented by contrasting white stitching and a portion of white leather on the dashboard. It’s a unique and unexpected take on the G-Class’s interior.

Unlike many G-Class modifications that focus on a rugged, aggressive appearance, the Carlex Rose Vintage embraces a softer, retro vibe. The combination of soft pink and retro design elements results in a G-Wagen that stands out from the crowd, appealing to those who appreciate a unique twist. Automotive website Carscoops praised the Carlex Rose Vintage as a refreshing take on the G-Class, noting that it steers clear of the typical path of making this SUV more rugged.
