Honda recently officially handed over the first six ICON e: vehicles to customers at HEAD Honda Thang Loi 1 (Hanoi).

At the handover ceremony, Mr. Shintaro Taniguchi, Director of Honda Vietnam’s Motorcycle Sales Division, stated: “ICON e: is not just a new product but also Honda’s commitment to promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly transportation in Vietnam.”

At the vehicle handover event, HEAD Thang Loi 1 was also certified by Honda Vietnam as an authorized dealer for electric vehicles. It is one of 132 HEADs nationwide, spanning 45 provinces and cities.

Mr. To Huu Vinh, Director of HEAD Thang Loi 1, shared: “HEAD Thang Loi 1 is one of the TOP HEADs first authorized to distribute the ICON e: model – a strategic product in the goal of environmental protection. To ensure the best customer experience, HEAD Thang Loi 1 has upgraded its showroom space and combined it with a team of experienced staff and technicians, always ready to provide dedicated consultation to optimize the sales process.”

First introduced at the Vietnam Auto & Motorcycle Show 2024, ICON e: quickly attracted attention from parents and students alike thanks to its youthful, modern, and premium design, along with a host of advanced safety features. The vehicle is equipped with a Lithium-ion battery that is anti-explosion, IP67 water-resistant, easily detachable, and flexible for direct charging on the vehicle or separately. With a maximum speed of 48 km/h and a range of 71 km on a full charge of 8 hours, this model is suitable for the short-distance travel needs of young people in urban areas.

The advanced CBS combined braking system shortens braking distances and increases safety, while the LED lighting system enhances visibility for maximum peace of mind while on the move.

Additionally, the vehicle boasts a spacious 26-liter trunk, two convenient front compartments, and a USB Type-A port, all designed to provide a comfortable and convenient experience for dynamic young users.

In Vietnam, the Honda ICON e: is available in three versions: Premium (VND 26.9 million), Special (VND 27.1 million), and Sports (VND 27.3 million). The price includes a charger but excludes the battery. Customers can choose to rent a battery for VND 350,000/month, with unlimited mileage. The vehicle comes with a 3-year warranty, with no limit on the distance traveled.
