The renowned British automotive customization companies, Chelsea Truck Co. and Kahn Design, have unveiled their latest creation – the Concept 001 upgrade package for the iconic Land Rover Defender 90 SUV.
This Defender 90 Concept 001 not only gives the SUV a fresh new look but also enhances its performance and adds a unique touch to its iconic 3-door design.
One of the most notable changes to the Defender 90 Concept 001 is the addition of 20-inch Hammerhead RS-Forged alloy wheels, which are quite large for a 3-door vehicle. However, Chelsea Truck Co. has expertly paired these wheels with 33-inch off-road tires to strike the perfect balance between on-road performance and off-road capability.
The front headlights have also been redesigned for a sharper look. The Land Rover logo has been replaced with the Chelsea Truck Co. emblem, while the hood proudly displays the Kahn Design badge, showcasing the collaboration between these two esteemed customization houses.
At the rear, the Defender 90 has been fitted with a new spare tire cover and a carbon fiber diffuser, adding a touch of sportiness and improving the vehicle’s aerodynamics.
The interior of the Defender 90 Concept 001 is a showcase of personalized style, with a black and Britannia Blue color scheme accented by blue stitching. The intricate detailing and craftsmanship reflect the meticulous attention to detail that Kahn Design and Chelsea Truck Co. are known for.
According to Chelsea Truck Co., the Concept 001 package is available for both the Land Rover Defender 90 and Defender 110 models. The starting price for the entire upgrade package is £25,000 (approximately $31,500 USD), which is comparable to the price of a new Toyota Camry in the US market.
