VinFast Delivers Over 12,100 Electric Cars in March 2025

The demand for VinFast electric vehicles in March 2025 remained stable at over 12,100 units, almost equal to the sales figure of the previous month. In the first three months of the year, the total number of VinFast vehicles sold in the domestic market has surpassed 35,100 units.

Specifically, in March, the VF 5 compact SUV model emerged as VinFast’s best-selling vehicle, with over 4,400 units sold, attributed to its versatility catering to both personal and business service needs. Following closely in second place was the VF 3, fondly known as the “national electric car,” with more than 3,700 units sold.

The VF 6 and VF 7 models continued to showcase their appeal, with March sales figures reaching over 1,100 units for the VF 6 and more than 600 units for the VF 7. The remaining sales comprised the VF 8, VF 9, and VF e34 models.

In addition to the vehicles currently on the market, VinFast officially started accepting reservations for the Green line in March 2025 through its GSM partner and official distribution system nationwide. Within just 72 hours, GSM received a total of 45,813 orders for the Minio Green, Herio Green, Nerio Green, and Limo Green models, setting a new record in the Vietnamese automotive market.

As of the end of Q1 2025, VinFast has delivered a total of more than 35,100 vehicles to customers. The VF 3 maintained its top position with over 13,100 units sold, followed by the VF 5 with over 10,800 units. The VinFast VF 6 is also gaining traction, with over 4,100 units delivered to customers in the first quarter of the year.

With its exceptional sales performance in the domestic market, VinFast is well-positioned to achieve its goal of doubling vehicle deliveries this year compared to 2024. In addition to the Vietnamese market, VinFast is also actively expanding its business in key international markets, including Indonesia, the Philippines, and India.

In parallel with its business expansion across all markets, VinFast is also expediting the construction of new factories to increase production capacity. In 2025, the factories in Indonesia, India, and Ha Tinh, Vietnam, are expected to commence operations, supporting the company’s strategic expansion into key markets.
