The second-generation Rolls-Royce Ghost has received a mid-life upgrade with the Series II, adopting a similar design language to its sibling, the Spectre. These changes have brought a fresh perspective to the British luxury sedan.
In terms of design and equipment, the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II has undergone significant changes to offer a novel experience to its wealthy owners. Firstly, it features all-new LED lighting, including high and low beams, and distinctive L-shaped daytime running lights, differing from its predecessor. The lighting system on this luxury model has been redesigned to be softer and sleeker. As a result, the Series II appears more graceful when viewed from the front.

Additionally, it sports a new full-width “Pantheon Grille,” a hallmark of the brand. This grille has been redesigned with thinner surrounds, and the grille’s vanes are now illuminated with LED lights, creating a dazzling effect when driven at night. This feature also enhances the car’s distinctiveness, making it instantly recognizable as a Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II.

Departing from the previous design, the Series II boldly adopts a seamless front bumper that extends to the sides, creating a more robust, youthful, and modern appearance. While not entirely novel, this design is particularly well-suited to the new overall aesthetic of the front end.

At the rear, the Series II boasts all-new LED taillights inspired by the Rolls-Royce Spectre. These taillights have a softer design that hugs the curves of the rear end, gradually extending towards the C-pillar. The inner LED strips are simple yet elegant, featuring a stylized double-R logo.

Similar to the exterior, the interior of the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II has also received numerous upgrades. Notably, a central analog clock on the dashboard, a traditional feature of the British luxury marque, has been elevated. In the Series II, this clock is accompanied by the Spirit of Ecstasy emblem, encased in glass, and positioned next to the central infotainment screen. This design treatment transforms the clock and emblem into a work of art within the car.

Another highlight is the Illuminated Fascia, a unique feature of Rolls-Royce, which enhances the interior’s aesthetic appeal. In the Series II, this element is accompanied by subtle LED lighting, creating an effect reminiscent of stars orbiting the Earth. This detail provides a striking visual experience for occupants.

The final touch is the new interior material, Duality Twill. This material is crafted from bamboo and requires intricate craftsmanship, with a complete Duality Twill interior involving up to 2.2 million stitches, 18 kilometers of thread, and over 20 hours of labor.

As it is only a mid-life update, the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II retains the previous 6.75-liter V12 engine and ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. Consequently, it maintains the same impressive performance with a maximum output of 571 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque.
In Vietnam, the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II has a starting price of 34.9 billion VND.
