Audi has recently unveiled its new A6 sedan, marking a significant evolution in design language and aerodynamics.
The 2025 Audi A6 is regarded as the brand’s sedan with an internal combustion engine and the lowest drag coefficient, at just 0.23. This is even lower than the A6 Avant wagon variant (0.25).
The A6 2025’s design has been refined to be more modern and sharp while retaining the elegant character of a luxury sedan. Its exterior is clearly influenced by the Audi A7 style, featuring a large single grille, angular LED lights, and a sporty notchback tail.
Aerodynamic details such as the low-slung roof, subtle air vents, small spoiler, and rear diffuser contribute to optimizing airflow and reducing fuel consumption at high speeds. Together, they create a sleek yet elegant overall look.
The 2025 A6 is built on the Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) chassis, shared with the Audi A5. It features an adaptive air suspension system and an optional four-wheel steering system for enhanced stability when cornering at high speeds. The alloy wheels range from 19 to 21 inches, catering to various configurations.
The new A6’s cabin exudes technology with a 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.5-inch central touchscreen, and an optional 10.9-inch display for the front passenger. Additionally, it offers a head-up display (HUD), a Bang & Olufsen 20-speaker audio system, four-zone automatic climate control, and automatic door closing support.
Audi claims that the new A6’s sound insulation has been improved by 30% compared to its predecessor, providing a quieter and more comfortable journey. The luggage compartment capacity is 492 liters, slightly lower than competitors like the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
In Europe, the Audi A6 is offered with various petrol and diesel engine options. Notable among these are the 2.0 TFSI and 2.0 TDI engines with a mild-hybrid system, as well as the V6 3.0 TFSI variant.
In the US market, Audi offers only one engine option: the 3.0L V6 TFSI turbocharged engine that produces 362 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive. Customers can also opt for a rear sports differential to enhance the vehicle’s handling capabilities.
The 2025 A6 is now in production at the Neckarsulm plant in Germany. This luxury sedan starts at €55,500 (approximately 1.62 billion VND) in Europe and is expected to be delivered to customers this summer.
Despite the 25% import tax in the US, Audi has confirmed that the new A6 will be available there from the second half of 2025. With its refined design, advanced technology, and superior performance, the 2025 A6 is poised to remain a top choice in the luxury sedan segment.
