Prominent Vietnamese businessman and supercar enthusiast, Hoang Kim Khanh, has recently confirmed the sale of five cars from his personal collection, making room for an anticipated new addition to his garage.
Khanh, who owns a successful cosmetics company, posted images on social media of the five cars he is parting with: a Lamborghini Aventador S, Ferrari SF90 Stradale, Ferrari 488 Pista Spider, Aston Martin V8 Vantage, and Porsche 911 Turbo S. The caption read, “Bye for now, off to the mountains you go,” leaving many to speculate that these cars will soon be joining the collection of “King of Coffee,” Dang Le Nguyen Vu.
Among the cars leaving his collection, the Lamborghini Aventador S holds a special place as the longest-serving member. It was the first Aventador S LP740-4 to arrive in Vietnam, and Khanh had customized it with approximately 1.5 billion VND worth of modifications. However, prior to the sale, the car was restored to its original factory specifications.
The Ferrari 488 Pista Spider was a gift from Khanh to his wife. Imported privately in late 2020, this high-performance convertible supercar is powered by a 3.9L twin-turbocharged V8 engine.
Meanwhile, the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, a plug-in hybrid with a price tag of over 40 billion VND, had only been with Khanh since August 2024. At the time, it was the only SF90 in Ho Chi Minh City, while the other Ferraris in Vietnam mostly carried diplomatic plates or remained unregistered.
The Porsche 911 Turbo S (code 992) brought a new dimension to Khanh’s collection, which primarily consisted of high-performance supercars and luxury vehicles. Acquired in mid-2023, the exact price of this Porsche remains undisclosed. However, according to official dealer pricing, the Porsche 911 Turbo S starts at approximately 16.5 billion VND in Vietnam.
Rounding off the list is the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, once hailed as the most impressive modified version of its kind in Vietnam. Fitted with an official Aston Martin Racing (AMR) body kit and Strasse SV10M Deep Concave FS three-piece wheels, the car exudes a unique and sporty character, reflecting the distinct personality of its owner.
Despite bidding farewell to these five remarkable cars, Hoang Kim Khanh still boasts an impressive collection, including names such as Koenigsegg Regera, McLaren Senna, Morgan Plus Six, Bentley Mulsanne, Bentley Bentayga V8, Cadillac Escalade, Lexus LX600, and BMW 428i. The anticipation surrounding the new addition to his garage has the automotive world abuzz with excitement.
