The Vietnamese automotive market in March 2025 witnessed a remarkable surge from Mitsubishi Motors with its three strategic models: Xpander, Xforce, and Triton. This showcases the enduring appeal of the Japanese brand amidst the intensifying competition within the internal combustion engine vehicle segment.

Mitsubishi Xpander maintains its stellar performance, topping the sales charts for internal combustion engine vehicles with 2,530 units sold in March 2025. This achievement not only solidifies Xpander’s stronghold over the years but also cements its dominance in the small MPV segment, outpacing rivals such as the Toyota Veloz and Suzuki Ertiga with a 60% market share.

More than a year after its debut in Vietnam, the Mitsubishi Xforce remains the best-selling CUV/SUV in the B-segment for March, delivering 948 units to customers. From April 2024 to March 2025, a remarkable total of 15,003 Xforce vehicles were sold, a testament to the success of this new model.

With its modern design, spacious interior, and superior features within its segment, the Xforce is an attractive choice for young customers and urban families.

The new-generation Triton also experienced significant growth in March, with 538 units sold—a 2.5 times increase compared to February 2025. This surge is largely attributed to the successful Triton Experience Day and Triton Mini Showroom events held across various provinces, where customers could experience the power and versatility of the Japanese pickup truck firsthand.

To sustain this growth trajectory, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam has launched a substantial promotion campaign for April, offering support for registration fees of up to 100% and valuable gifts (see link for details).

Xforce: Support equivalent to 50% of registration fees

Xpander, Xpander Cross: Support equivalent to 50% of registration fees, plus gifts such as a 360-degree camera, reverse camera, or fuel voucher.

All-New Triton: Support equivalent to 50% of registration fees plus gifts worth VND 10 million.

Attrage: Support for 50% of registration fees for the CVT Premium trim and 100% for the MT trim, fuel vouchers worth up to VND 20 million, shark fin antenna, or reverse camera.
