The Zeekr stand at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show showcased the impressive 009 MPV.

According to sources, Zeekr may choose the 009 minivan as its first vehicle to enter the Vietnamese market. The car is expected to be initially imported and then potentially assembled locally in the future.

The Zeekr 009 is a large MPV/minivan offering from the Chinese automaker. It is built on the Volvo EM90 platform, boasting impressive dimensions: 5,217 x 2,024 x 1,812 mm (length x width x height) with a 3,205 mm wheelbase.

The front of the vehicle features a striking closed-grille design with a waterfall-style pattern, complemented by U-shaped headlights. The Zeekr 009 is the world’s first MPV equipped with a smart grille that can adapt its design based on different scenarios.

In its latest mid-life upgrade, the vehicle is also fitted with a LiDAR sensor mounted on the roof. At the rear, the Zeekr 009 sports sleek taillights with 402 LEDs and the ZEEKR logo in the center. The high-mounted brake light and roof spoiler add a sporty touch.

Inside, the Zeekr 009 offers not only a standard 2+2+2 seating configuration or a 4-seat Grand ultra-luxury option but also a new 7-seat version introduced in the latest mid-life upgrade.

The cockpit retains the traditional T-shaped layout, featuring a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The front infotainment screen has been upgraded to a 15.05-inch OLED display with 2.5K resolution. The roof-mounted screen for rear passengers has also been enhanced to a 17-inch OLED panel with 3K resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Both screens are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chips, enabling advanced AI features that can predict user needs based on their habits.

The vehicle offers 12-way power-adjustable front passenger seats with massage functions. Each seat is equipped with Yamaha headrest speakers. Additionally, the Zeekr 009 comes with a range of convenient features, including mobile app control, OTA updates, facial recognition, wireless charging, ambient lighting, and a control panel for the second-row seats integrated into the electric sliding door.

In its home market of China, the Zeekr 009 is offered with two powertrain options. The first is a single electric motor producing 416 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque, paired with front-wheel drive. This setup enables the vehicle to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 230 km/h.

The second option is a dual-motor setup, delivering an impressive 778 horsepower and 810 Nm of torque. Combined with an all-wheel-drive system, this configuration propels the vehicle from 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, while still achieving a top speed of 230 km/h.

Both powertrain options are equipped with nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) 108 kWh batteries, supporting ultra-fast charging. The batteries can be charged from 10-80% in just 11.5 minutes, thanks to their 800V architecture, known as 5C charging.

When fully charged, the single-motor version offers a range of up to 740 km according to the CLTC standard, while the dual-motor version provides a range of 702 km. An optional 140 kWh battery is also available, increasing the range to 900 km but utilizing a 400V system instead of the standard 800V.

Pricing for the Zeekr 009 in Vietnam is yet to be announced. In China, the vehicle is priced between 439,000 and 469,000 Chinese yuan (approximately 1.55 – 1.66 billion VND).
