The tragic incident of a Mitsubishi Xpander car catching fire on Hoang Thi Loan Street in Da Nang, Vietnam, resulting in two fatalities, has shocked the public.

According to security camera footage, at around 7:15 am on April 22, a Mitsubishi Xpander with license plate number 43H-024.63 was traveling on Hoang Thi Loan Street, heading towards the Nguyen Sinh Sac Street overpass, when it suddenly stopped in the middle of the road.

A woman sitting in the front passenger seat was seen shouting for help as she was being assaulted by the male driver. After a brief struggle, the woman fell out of the car and onto the road. The man then sat next to her, appearing dazed, before returning to the car and setting it on fire in an apparent suicide attempt.

At the scene, the car was extensively damaged, and both victims were pronounced dead.

Investigations by authorities revealed that the man was identified as H.A.T (born 1993, from Hoa Vang), and the woman as N.T.M.N (also born 1993, from Hai Chau). The incident was reportedly a result of a romantic dispute between the two, which escalated into a tragic outcome.
