On April 24, 2025, Geely Vietnam officially launched a nationwide promotion program called “Coolray – Cool Drive: Test Drive, Win a Real Car.” The program aimed to spread the appeal of the Geely Coolray and encourage customers to experience it directly to get a real feel for the brand’s strategic model.
Accordingly, customers who registered for a test drive of the Coolray at authorized dealerships or participated in test drives at official events would have the chance to win valuable prizes, including a special prize of a Geely Coolray Flagship version worth VND 628 million.
Specifically, customers who registered for a test drive of the Geely Coolray at dealerships or official events would receive one lucky code. If they placed a deposit for the car during the program, they would receive an additional lucky code. The lucky codes were issued based on the driver’s license number provided by the customers when registering for the test drive. The program will end at 12:00 p.m. on June 1, with the lucky draw taking place on the same day at the Geely Vietnam office. The results will be announced on the fanpage and official website on June 2, 2025.
The total value of the prizes exceeded VND 700 million, including:
- 1 special prize: 1 Geely Coolray Flagship version (worth VND 628 million)
- 1 first prize: A 3-day, 2-night invitation to Six Senses Ninh Van Bay
- 1 second prize: A limited-edition Seiko Prospex Sea Save The Ocean watch
- 3 third prizes: 3 invitations to Ana Mandara Villas Dalat Resort & Spa
The above prizes will be delivered to the customers within 45 days from the announcement of the results. This is the second promotion program since the launch of the Geely Coolray in Vietnam in late March 2025. Previously, Geely had offered a 50% registration fee discount until April 30 for customers purchasing this B-segment SUV.
Introduced in Vietnam on March 21, 2025, the Geely Coolray is imported from Malaysia. It offers three versions: Standard, Premium, and Flagship, priced from VND 538 million to VND 628 million.
The Geely Coolray in Vietnam is equipped with a 1.5L turbocharged 3-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 175 horsepower and 255 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, enabling the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.
In addition, the car also boasts a range of features such as a large infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay integration, a smart parking system, a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control (ACC), automatic emergency braking (AEB), and traction control (TCS).

Geely cars in Vietnam will be distributed by Tasco Auto Joint Stock Company, similar to Lynk & Co and Volvo.
