Under the hood, the Omoda C7 SHS is powered by the Super Hybrid System, shared with the Jaecoo J7 PHEV available in Vietnam. This system includes a 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine specifically designed for hybrid vehicles. The engine has been slightly upgraded to deliver a maximum output of 156 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque. It is paired with a powerful 204 horsepower/310 Nm electric motor and a dedicated hybrid single-speed transmission (DHT).
The combined power of this system reaches 360 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque, an improvement of 13 horsepower and 5 Nm over the Jaecoo J7 PHEV. Despite the increase in power, the Omoda C7 PHEV still accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 8.5 seconds, on par with its Jaecoo counterpart.

The vehicle is equipped with a lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery, known as the Blade battery, supplied by BYD. This 18.3 kWh battery enables a pure electric range of 90 km. With a full battery and a full tank of gas, the Omoda C7 SHS boasts an impressive total range of 1,258 km. Charging the battery is convenient through a charging port located on the right rear fender.
