The Dongfeng Nammi 06 is an electric vehicle that made its debut in February 2025. Dongfeng showcased this model at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show.

The 06 is the latest model from Dongfeng’s sub-brand, Nammi, whose first car, the Nammi 01, is currently sold in Vietnam as the Dongfeng Box.
Built on the Quantum Architecture Platform 3, the Nammi 06 measures 4,306 x 1,868 x 1,645 mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2,715 mm. Thus, it is larger than its sibling, the Dongfeng Box, and comparable in size to the BYD Atto 2.

The Nammi 06’s design resembles that of a Kia. This Chinese electric car has a boxy front end, a closed grille, LED daytime running lights integrated into the headlights in the shape of the number 7, mirrors on the A-pillars, large wheel arches, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Silver underbody protection and black rectangular air intakes give this electric car a distinct SUV look.

Notably, the car features a split tailgate that opens both upwards and downwards. The lower half of the tailgate can support up to 150 kg, making it ideal for outdoor activities.

The Nammi 06’s rear lights are designed in the shape of the letter “n,” incorporating matrix dot elements. The turn signals, reverse lights, and brake lights can display different lighting patterns, enhancing visibility and communication with other drivers on the road.

The Nammi 06’s interior is minimalist, featuring a 12.8-inch central touchscreen, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a two-spoke steering wheel with a column-mounted shifter, a six-speaker audio system, and a 50W wireless phone charger.

The car also includes hidden cup holders, a panoramic sunroof, 128-color ambient lighting, and two rows of seats that can be folded flat with one touch, creating a bed for passengers. Higher-end versions offer seats with heating, cooling, and massage functions.

The Nammi 06 is equipped with a front-mounted electric motor that delivers a maximum output of 184 horsepower, enabling it to reach a top speed of 150 km/h.
The motor is paired with two battery options: a 44.94 kWh or a 51.87 kWh battery. These batteries offer a range of 401 km and 471 km, respectively, on the relatively lenient CLTC standard. Even so, the Nammi 06 outperforms its rival, the BYD Atto 2, which has a range of 301-401 km.
Fast DC charging can take the battery from 30% to 80% in just 18 minutes. The 3C ultra-fast charging technology allows the car to travel 100 km on just a 5-minute charge.

The Nammi 06 is currently available for pre-order in China, with five trim levels priced between RMB 89,900 and RMB 119,900 (approximately USD 311 to USD 419 million). The car is expected to hit the roads in the second quarter of this year.
Despite offering affordable options, the Nammi brand has struggled with modest sales figures in China. In the first quarter of 2025, the brand sold only 9,514 units.
