The 2025 Toyota Camry has undergone a significant transformation with its new generation. Now, the Japanese automaker has revealed some upgrades for this D-segment sedan in the US market.
Compared to the old version, the 2026 Toyota Camry only has minor changes. Notably, the new Nightshade Edition stands out. It can be said that this is an attractive choice for those who love the mysterious and stylish all-black style.
The 2026 Toyota Camry is launched with a new, sporty Nightshade Edition.
True to its name, the Toyota Camry Nightshade is equipped with a series of Midnight Black Metallic-painted details such as the grille, mirror caps, door handles, rear spoiler, air intakes, front air curtains, and rear diffuser. Moreover, it features 19-inch black wheels and a black Toyota logo to complete the sleek, monochrome look.

These details create a striking accent when combined with the white Ice Cap or Supersonic Red exterior colors. For a completely dark look, buyers can opt for the Midnight Black Metallic paint for the exterior.

Inside, the Toyota Camry Nightshade continues the sporty theme with SofTex-trimmed black seats featuring contrasting white stitching. Additionally, it comes with aluminum pedal covers, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and wireless phone charging.

Similar to the SE and XSE versions currently sold in the US market, the new Nightshade Edition also features a sport-tuned suspension with a larger front stabilizer bar.
Powering the Nightshade Edition is a hybrid powertrain consisting of a 2.4L gasoline engine, an electric motor, and a small lithium-ion battery. This setup delivers a combined output of 225 horsepower for the front-wheel-drive configuration. Meanwhile, the all-wheel-drive model gets an additional rear electric motor, boosting the total output to 232 horsepower. Despite the impressive power figures, both versions offer exceptional fuel efficiency, with an estimated consumption of 5.11 liters/100 km in city, highway, and combined cycles.
Aside from the Nightshade Edition, the 2026 Toyota Camry for the US market also receives a minor update in terms of color options. Specifically, the SE, XLE, and XSE trims will be available in a new color called Dark Cosmos – a smoky dark green shade that Toyota describes as “sensual and ethereal.”

The 2026 Toyota Camry is expected to arrive at US dealerships this summer. Pricing will be announced closer to its launch. The current version of this D-segment sedan starts at $28,700, excluding a $1,135 delivery fee.
