A sneak peek at Yamaha Vietnam’s upcoming new model.

Revzone Yamaha, the large-displacement motorcycle distributor of Yamaha Vietnam, has just revealed an upcoming new model launch. The brand released a single teaser image of the front end of the motorcycle, along with information suggesting it will be a sporty and comfortable long-distance touring bike.

Based on the image and the information provided, it is evident that the upcoming model belongs to the touring category. Currently, Revzone Yamaha’s lineup includes only one touring model, the Tracer 9. It is likely that the new model will be either the Tracer 9 GT or the Tracer 9 GT+.

The Yamaha Tracer 9 is currently available in Vietnam and retails for VND 369 million.

If the Tracer 9 GT+ is introduced, it will be the first model from the Japanese brand to feature adaptive cruise control technology. This technology automatically adjusts the bike’s speed based on the vehicle in front, using sensors located below the headlights.

The top-of-the-line sport-touring model features a 7-inch TFT speed display with three display modes. On the other hand, the two lower variants, the Tracer 9 and Tracer 9 GT, are equipped with a dual 3.5-inch speedometer display.

All Tracer 9 variants share the same 890 cc, 3-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This powerful engine delivers an impressive 117.3 horsepower at 10,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 93 Nm at 7,000 rpm.

The Yamaha Tracer 9 is currently priced at VND 369 million in Vietnam. It is expected that the Tracer 9 GT and Tracer 9 GT+, when introduced, will be priced at VND 400 million or higher and may even approach VND 500 million.
