According to Motor1, BMW is offering discounts of up to $22,500 on the 2024 BMW XM. However, not all customers in the US are eligible for this deal.
Currently, BMW is offering a $15,000 discount on the 2024 BMW XM in the US, regardless of whether customers choose to finance or pay in full. The incentive increases to $17,500 if customers choose to lease instead of buying.
In addition, the latest promotional news from CarsDirect reveals that US customers can save an extra $5,000 through their loyalty program.
While a $22,500 discount is significant, American customers still need to spend a substantial amount to get their hands on the BMW XM. With a starting price of $159,995, US customers will have to pay at least $137,495 for the BMW XM after applying all the incentives. Nonetheless, Motor1 suggests that a discount equivalent to 14% of the vehicle’s value is still noteworthy in the current new car market.
The Motor1 specialist also notes that BMW is almost out of 2024 XMs. Data from Cars.com shows that BMW dealers in the US have only 46 vehicles left in stock.
For customers looking to purchase the 2025 BMW XM, the German automaker is offering a $12,500 discount on both purchase and lease options.
BMW’s decision to offer significant discounts on the XM is not entirely surprising. Last year, the BMW XM was the slowest-selling model for the automaker in the US, with only 1,974 units delivered to customers. The BMW XM also holds the title of the brand’s lowest-selling model globally.
BMW has always maintained that they intend to keep production volumes low for the high-performance XM SUV. The latest discounts indicate that customer interest in the BMW XM may not have met the automaker’s expectations.
