A bright orange Dodge Challenger GT was recently spotted on the streets of Hanoi, turning heads and attracting attention from car enthusiasts in the capital city.

The American muscle car’s presence quickly captured the attention of many car lovers in Hanoi.

In the Vietnamese market, the Dodge Challenger GT is a rare sight, with only a handful of units in the country. This car is not a common choice for the rich as its American muscle car style appeals to a specific group of car enthusiasts who appreciate its unique, bold character and passion for speed.

Dodge Challenger is an iconic name in the American muscle car world, first introduced in 1969-1970. The Challenger is globally renowned for its powerful design, high performance, and affordable pricing.

In the US, the Challenger GT has a starting price of $35,300 (approximately 860 million VND). However, when imported to Vietnam with taxes and fees, the price can exceed 3 billion VND, excluding on-road costs.

This particular Dodge Challenger belongs to the third generation, introduced in 2008, but it’s the 2020 upgraded version.

What stands out is its vibrant orange paint job with black accents. The front features a black grille, Challenger and GT badges in matching colors for a subtle look. The LED headlights are round, giving it a classic look, accompanied by a positioning light with an integrated air intake. The hood has additional vents for better heat dissipation.

At the rear, the LED taillights are designed with two symmetrical “C” shapes. A black spoiler on the trunk and a pair of single exhaust pipes create a sporty, robust look.

The car sits on 20-inch five-spoke black alloy wheels, with gray rear brake calipers. Distinctive features like the raised body lines and minimalist design set this Challenger GT apart from typical American muscle cars.

The interior of this Challenger GT features a predominantly black theme with white stitching accents. The steering wheel has integrated hands-free buttons, and the instrument cluster combines analog gauges with a digital display. The centrally located infotainment screen faces the driver for an intuitive driving experience. The car has a 2+2 seating configuration, suitable for both personal and small family use.

Under the hood, the Dodge Challenger GT is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 305 horsepower and 363 Nm of torque. It’s paired with an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.

With this configuration, the car can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about six seconds, not as powerful as the Hellcat or SRT versions, but still sufficient for daily sporty driving.

The owner of this Dodge Challenger GT is known for his passion for American cars. His garage also includes other notable vehicles such as the GMC Sierra 3500HD, Hummer H2, and Ford Mustang…
