Following suit with its competitors, Nissan Vietnam is offering new promotions this May 2025. The Nissan Vietnam promotional program offers discounts to customers who sign contracts and make deposits for the Almera and Navara models from May 1, 2025, to May 31, 2025.

Nissan Vietnam’s promotion program for May 2025.

Overall, the promotions for these two Nissan models are not exceptionally superior to those of their competitors in the same segment. Similarly to the Nissan Almera, two B-segment sedans, the Toyota Vios and Honda City, are also being offered with a 50% registration fee discount.

Meanwhile, the Mitsubishi Attrage comes with a 100% registration fee support for the MT version and a 50% discount for the CVT Premium version. In addition, the company offers a rearview camera worth 2.5 million VND and a fuel voucher worth 8 million VND for customers who purchase the Attrage MT. The CVT Premium version comes with a fuel voucher worth 20 million VND and a shark fin antenna worth 1.5 million VND. The total value of Mitsubishi Attrage promotions can be up to 46 to 48.5 million VND.

In the pickup truck segment, the Mitsubishi Triton is currently being offered with a 50% registration fee discount for the 2WD AT GLX, 2WD AT Premium, and 4WD AT Athlete versions, with values ranging from 20 to 28 million VND. In addition, there is a gift worth 10 million VND for all three versions.

In Vietnam, the Nissan brand currently distributes three car lines: Almera, Navara, and Kicks. However, the Kicks model has not had any official promotions for a long time.

Nissan cars in Vietnam do not have a price advantage, so the company has been running various promotional programs to stimulate sales.

In 2024, Nissan launched an upgraded version of the Almera in Vietnam. The new version features exterior design enhancements and slight interior improvements. Notably, this B-segment sedan has been equipped with advanced safety features such as an emergency braking system (FEB), forward collision warning, adaptive headlights, lane departure warning, and tire pressure warning. The blind-spot monitoring system, rear cross-traffic alert, 360-degree camera, and moving object detection are also equipped in the car.

Under the hood of the new Nissan Almera remains the same 1.0L turbocharged 3-cylinder gasoline engine as its predecessor, producing 100 horsepower and 152 Nm of torque. The power is transmitted to the wheels through an Xtronic CVT automatic transmission, allowing the car to consume only 4.29 liters of fuel per 100 km.

The Nissan Navara pickup truck also received minor improvements in 2024, featuring a completely new dashboard and an upgraded multimedia entertainment screen. However, the engine remains unchanged: a 2.3L turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces 190 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission and either a 1-wheel drive or a 2-wheel drive system, depending on the version.
