VinFast introduces the EC Van, a compact electric cargo van, marking the brand’s first entry into Vietnam’s cargo vehicle segment.
The VinFast EC Van (short for E-City Van) boasts a sleek and compact design with dimensions of 3,767 x 1,680 x 1,790 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,520 mm. Its versatile design makes it suitable for urban and rural environments alike. The van accommodates two occupants in the cockpit and offers a spacious cargo area with a capacity of up to 2,600 liters and a payload of over 600 kg.
Under the hood, the EC Van is powered by an electric motor that delivers a maximum output of 30kW and a peak torque of 110Nm, enabling a top speed of 75km/h. Its 17kWh battery offers an impressive range of 150km on a single charge. The van supports fast DC charging up to 19.4kW, allowing a quick charge from 10% to 70% in just 42 minutes. Alternatively, customers can opt for a 3kW portable charger for overnight charging at home.
Safety is a priority in the EC Van, evident through its front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, and advanced technologies such as ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution), TCS (Traction Control System), and ESS (Emergency Stop Signal).
Priced at 285 million VND (including the battery), the VinFast EC Van comes with a generous warranty of 5 years or 130,000 km for the vehicle and 7 years or 160,000 km for the battery, whichever comes first. In addition to the standard model, customers can opt for an optional package worth 20 million VND to enhance their van with additional comforts and conveniences.
