On May 13, 2025, VinFast announced that it delivered a total of 9,588 electric vehicles to customers in Vietnam in April 2025, bringing the cumulative year-to-date sales in the domestic market to 44,691 units.
Following the success of the first quarter, VinFast recorded impressive sales in April 2025 in Vietnam with 9,588 vehicles sold. Leading the sales chart was the VF 5, with 3,731 units delivered to customers. This model strikes a balance between personal use and ride-hailing services, offering a beautiful design, safety, high quality, stable performance, and cost-efficiency.
The second best-selling VinFast model in April was the VF 3, with 2,378 units sold. Cumulative sales of the VF 3 since the beginning of the year reached 15,466 units, making it the best-selling model in the market. Closely following the VF 3 is the VF 5, with a total of 14,520 units sold year-to-date.
The VF 6 also impressed with 1,763 units sold in April 2025, bringing its year-to-date total to 5,914 units. The VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9 models also performed exceptionally well in their respective segments.
Notably, April 2025 marked the first month of VinFast’s official delivery of the Herio Green and Nerio Green models, which are optimized for ride-hailing services. These models are derived from the VF 5 and VF e34, tailored for business purposes. The remaining two models in the Green line, the Minio and Limo Green, are expected to be delivered starting August 2025.
In total, from the beginning of the year until the end of April 2025, VinFast sold 44,691 electric vehicles in the domestic market, maintaining its leading position. VinFast established this market leadership at the end of 2024 and has since solidified its standing in recent months.
Alongside its strong sales performance, VinFast continuously researches, develops, and launches new products. Most recently, VinFast introduced the EB 6, a small electric bus, along with a school bus version, to promote green transformation in key transportation sectors.
