We’re already six months into 2025, but dealerships still have inventory of 2024-manufactured vehicles. To clear out these older models, dealerships have introduced attractive promotions and discounts. A prime example of this is seen at Hyundai dealerships.

Indeed, select Hyundai dealerships are offering substantial discounts of up to 100-200 million VND on the 2024 Santa Fe SUV. Specifically, the base Exclusive trim is now priced at 970 million VND after a 100 million VND discount. For the mid-range Prestige trim, dealerships are offering discounts ranging from 165 to 195 million VND, bringing the price down to just 1.07 to 1.1 billion VND. The highest discount is offered on the top-of-the-line Calligraphy trim, with a reduction of 165 to 190 million VND, resulting in a new price range of 1.175 to 1.2 billion VND.

In addition to these price reductions, some dealerships are also providing complimentary accessories and maintenance vouchers for customers purchasing this mid-size SUV to further entice buyers and clear out their inventory. Of course, as these Hyundai Santa Fe SUVs are 2024 models, the quantity and color options available will vary depending on the dealership.

Since the launch of the new-generation Hyundai Santa Fe in the Vietnamese market in September last year, this is the most significant discount offered on the model. This situation is a stark contrast to the “bundling” practices observed at dealerships when the new model was first introduced.

With the new generation, the Hyundai Santa Fe underwent a complete design overhaul, adopting a boxy style reminiscent of the luxurious Land Rover Defender SUV. Additionally, it boasts a spacious interior and an extensive list of features. The vehicle also introduces two new gasoline engine options while discontinuing the previous diesel variant.

The first is a Smartstream 2.5L naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engine that produces 194 horsepower and 246 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and is available with either front-wheel drive or HTRAC all-wheel drive.

The second engine option is a turbocharged Smartstream 2.5L 4-cylinder unit, generating an impressive 281 horsepower and 422 Nm of torque. This powerful engine is mated to an 8-speed wet dual-clutch automatic transmission and the HTRAC all-wheel-drive system.

Since the introduction of the new generation, the Hyundai Santa Fe has maintained stable sales within its segment but has yet to surpass the dominant Ford Everest. In the first quarter of 2025, Hyundai sold a total of 789 units of the Santa Fe, while Ford sold 2,134 units of the Everest during the same period.
