The renowned tuning company, Mansory, has just unveiled their latest upgrade package for the Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet, dubbed the P9LM Evo 900. This is the first time this powerful upgrade has been offered for the convertible variant.
The P9LM Evo 900 features a comprehensive range of enhancements, both aesthetically and mechanically. Notably, the entire exterior of the vehicle is crafted from carbon fiber.
The front end stands out with a new bumper integrating a splitter, enlarged air intakes, and a redesigned hood. The air vents on the front fenders pay homage to the style of the 911 GT3 RS.
Carbon fiber is also utilized for the side skirts, mirror caps, and decorative trims on the body. At the rear, Mansory has equipped the P9LM Evo 900 with a fixed wing and a large rear diffuser, accompanied by a new sports exhaust system. The vehicle also boasts custom-designed multi-spoke wheels with carbon fiber details and contrasting paint accents.
The interior has been refreshed with white leather upholstery, accented by purple seatbelts and contrasting stitching. The P9LM Evo 900 features carbon fiber sports seats and additional decorative elements in matching colors. The steering wheel has been redesigned while retaining the traditional 911 layout.
Mansory didn’t stop at exterior and interior modifications; they also upgraded the 3.8L twin-turbo engine of the 911 Turbo S. Specifically, Mansory equipped the vehicle with a new turbocharger system, retuned the ECU, installed larger exhaust pipes (98 mm in diameter), and incorporated a water-cooled intercooler. As a result, the engine now produces 888 horsepower and delivers 1,050 Nm of torque. While specific performance figures have not been disclosed, these upgrades are expected to significantly enhance the car’s acceleration and driving experience.
Mansory’s expansion of its product range based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S reflects the growing demand for personalized high-performance vehicles. Despite mixed opinions on the design, the P9LM Evo 900 stands as a testament to the technical prowess and boldness of today’s leading tuning companies.
