The all-new Ford Territory 2025 has been spotted in Vietnam again, this time on the streets rather than in emission testing areas as previously seen.
This is the first time the Ford Territory mid-life refresh has been spotted in the wild, marking the final preparation before its official launch.
Unlike its previous appearance, this Territory prototype has camouflage covering the front and rear ends, while the sides are completely exposed. It sports the same set of wheels as the previously spotted prototype. Notably, the B and C pillars are body-colored, unlike the current model’s black finish. The rear quarter panel also appears more streamlined, giving it a modern and sleek look.
The area below the headlights is now body-colored, accentuating the black trim on the front bumper. In contrast, the Chinese version has this area completely blacked out. The grille also features some adjustments, suggesting that this could be a Vietnam-specific configuration.
Overall, the Territory 2025 is a mid-life refresh, so major changes are not expected. The front end has been refined with the main headlights positioned higher, a distinctive LED signature, and a wider lower grille. The body and rear remain largely unchanged, aside from new wheel designs.
There’s a slight adjustment to the dimensions, with the overall length increasing by 55 mm to 4,685 mm. The interior retains the dual 12.3-inch digital screens, electronic gear selector, and a tidy array of touch-sensitive controls on the center console.
In terms of powertrain, the Territory 2025 is likely to continue with the 1.5L EcoBoost turbocharged gasoline engine, producing 168 hp and 260 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
According to sales consultants, the Ford Territory 2025 could be launched in Vietnam later this year, although the exact timing is unknown. Currently, dealerships are offering various promotions to clear out existing Territory inventory.
